I need to move the front and rear wheel out about 4" so my 3 point hitch plow lines up better. I tried to move the rear wheel today. It has a wedge clamp with 2 wedges and a single bolt that pulls them together. The inside wedge freed up easily, I can't get the outside one free. Does anyone have any tips for getting it to move?
The front axle has 2 pinch bolts on the center tube clamping on the outer tube. Any tips for freeing this up?

When that tractor was new it came with a horseshoe shaped bracket that was bolted thru the hole on each side of the wedge blocks.

When you loosened the wedges as soon as one side made contact with the horseshoe it would start to push out the other wedge on the other side.

Find one of those brackets. Or borrow one from a neighbor.

Front tube? Lots of heat then cool with water to break the rust loose.

When the loose wedge comes up against the horseshoe IaGary talks about keep turning till there is maybe 150 pounds torque on it, maybe a little more. Then give the top of the axle a sharp rap with a big hammer one or more times. That will usually but not always pop the wedge loose. Front axle can be tough, very tough.
