You do know that thing is not green right? Please explain Detroit it? That mean your going to loot and burn it?Lol

He's going to put a Detroit engine in it. Never been involved with these tractors, but have been told that the Hercules engines are very expensive to work on.

Son pulled with the NTPA at The Jones Co. Fair at Monticello Ia. last year and I went out of the pits to get something to eat--they had a antique tractor display right out side the grandstand entrance, what caught my eye was a 2-150? all painted up Oliver green with a V-12 Detroit in it. I have no idea what the rest of the tractors were, that Oliver was all I looked at. I found out the guy that owns it only lives about 60 mi. from me so I have a source of info, I hope. I bought the 2-150 from a guy in Minn. who said he bought it from a neighbor just for the injection pump. He said it ran though. I have a S-99 with the 3-71 Detroit in it and I had bought a 8-71 from a Amish guy out in Indiana and now I have a tractor to put it in. THANKS-----Tee

Yes I am--I watch a lot of news and I see how profitable looting and burning is, especially when the libs have the cops hands tied and the media is waiting for them to fart crosswise. I might need help though, need a job?---Tee

That must be a real bad engine if a Detroit is an upgrade! A 5.9 Cummins would look great in there. I got so many projects of my own and working 6 days a week there is no way I would have time to help...But sounds fun. The A/c compressor went out of the 4250 today so I have to do when it rains. Finally getting some corn in the ground tho.

It is not going to be a work tractor, it is going to be a fun tractor. Instead of a 2-150, it will be a 2-318.----Tee
