Follow up to hail damage

I got hit with hail last weekend.

The estimates came back,

Complete roof and gutters on both house and shed (40K)
New siding and screens on house (15K)
About a grand of other stuff.

It sure adds up quick.

My last big hail storm was 1998, everyone had to replace roofs in neighborhood. I could use a good storm in next few years. Please send one my way. I have good insurance and a good roofer.

Wow David, must have been quite the hailstorm! How big were the hailstones? I have heard on the radio the last week a dealer an hour or so away has deals on new and used cars that are supposed to be really cheap due to a hail storm that went through.

Wow, you had a big one. In the 66 years I have lived here we haven't had hail that bad. Hope I didn't jinx myself. Right after I typed the first sentence a big clap of thunder rattled the windows.

I had a friend up on the Red River (separates TX. and OK.) have the rear view mirrors knocked off his GM motor home with a storm once. Lots of bad storms up there.....gotta be Texoma lake effect as I see it.
