the patch is plowed ,the Ford with the 2 bottom plow,,on the left the neighbor is shredding some corn stalks

In the garden,,a different neighbor dumped a load of composted horse manure

I spread it around with the back blade and the Ford

Well Larry, at least your tractor has enough power to open the rain cap on the muffler, HeHe
Nice pics. Still to wet to do much around here.

Some great shots Larry. I should be plowing next week. It's always
good seat time. Much better to plow dirt than snow.
Those disc we spoke about would come in handy for covering and
hilling taters on your cultivator. Some guys use them for digging
the trench but I prefer the middle buster for that. And a nice
pair of buzzarwings for hilling later.
Have a happy Easter.

There are some new Case ih tractors in this neighborhood,,but very few older Cases,,only ones I have ever seen are the two in the old shed that was falling down I showed you a while ago.Believe it or not, those two Case tractors a re still in the old falling down shed

Your gardening is going a lot better than mine. Got out the rototiller yesterday, had about a third of the garden tilled when the connecting rod went. It was the original Tecumseh HH-60 motor, at least 45 years old. Looks like an engine swap is pretty easy on those old Horses.

I would like to use the hillers to make a raised type bed for one row or maybe two in the big garden. One side of the garden gets a bit wet,but the soil is rich.I want to plant sweet potatoes in a raised bed there,,and maybe one wide row for carrots ,beets, and parsnips. I can hill the small rows of potatoes with the troy bilt hiller attachment. The big plot of potatoes is a community plot, and the farmer cultivates and hills them with a two row cultivator.I bought the seed taters last week.We kind of all do our part and everyone gets plenty around our neighborhood, its a fun tradition. We dont eat too many potatoes ourselves,I do ,but the wife has to watch her sugar level,so I dont cook them so often, being she likes them, its not fair to her to cook them often and tell her she cant eat them but i can,,,lol
