White LT-135 lawnmower help?

I have a White LT-135 Hydro lawnmower that has transmission trouble (wheels seem
to be locked up) Are there any other lawnmowers such as Yardman, MTD or others
that used that same transmission? Havent taken it apart yet.
 
I'm sure there are others using the same parts. I got into that with a Graveley, they didn't sell hydro parts, only the complete unit. Found out it was the same as Toro.

I just started looking at parts break downs until I found one that looked the same.

But before buying a new unit, I would do some exploring as to why it isn't working.

If it is locked up, when you try to move, you should hear the engine load or even die. If no loading, the power is not making it to the wheels. Could be the unloader valve is open, low on oil, linkage problem.

If all looks well, it could still be minor. Nothing to loose from opening it up.
 
The LT 135 is just an MTD product in the White brand name. Pretty standard trans found in most MTD built lawn tractors of that size, not hard to find used ones at all.
 
If the rear wheels are locked up and you can't move the mower just by pushing it, and it has been sitting a while, the problem is probably the disc brake on the side of the transmission is locked up. BTDT. Best remedy is just take the brake assembly off and throw it away.
