Here you go rrlund Oliver 1850 Gas Oakland city In. $4000.00 Evansville In CL

A little bit over priced unless you want the fender tanks and front slab weights. Realistically, without those tanks and weights,$2500-3000 would be more in line for a gasser.

Neighbor has been looking for one to transplant a Cummins 5.9 into. Would a 1850 work for this??? He has been looking at 1955s to convert. Is the frame rails and such long enough??? He would like the fender tanks and the front weights are getting harder to find.

Like I said before in this part of the country OLIVER is like the curse. I have no idea what the thing is worth I just send you the link on ever one I see. You are the oliver guy. Only way to see if he is firm is make an offer.. LOL To me that looked like a big gasser for it,s day.

I appreciate it. It's nice to see what they're asking in other parts of the country. I search CL for Oliver here a few times a week.

I have six 98 hp big 4 cylinder turbo KUBOTA engine sitting here. Guess I could go get it an make a real tractor. If I did not have so many projects that would be a fun one. The rubber on that tractor is what got my attention.

There's lots of ways to modify an Oliver. lol

Seems like when the guy from Virginia who did all the Cummins conversions was on here, you needed the tub from an 1850 diesel (Perkins) because the tub was wider for the Perkins. Don't know if 1855 tub is the same or not.

I'm thinking that parts you'd need for the conversion might be more readily available for the 1850 or White tub too. For my money,I'd prefer the 1855 rear end with closed center hydraulics though.

I saw a 1550 gas sell yesterday for $4000 no weights tires average. As a general rule the 4 digit gassers I see sell the smaller ones usually bring more than the larger ones.Keeping gas to a
310 will keep you busy.

You must have seen the 70 Hart-Parr in Lansing Craigslist I'm assuming? Not too bad looking, not sure they're worth $1500 for a free non runner.

When SHEPVA did the conversion to Cummins the cast in motor mounts the 1855 has got in the way and had to be cut out. The 1850 doesn't have those mounts.
