I have a restored WR9S With the hand clutch. When the throttle is all the way up you can put it in gear. When it's any throttle it won't let you put it into gear. It will also start moving on its own if you leave it in gear with the throttle 1/2 down. Anyone have any ideas ?

Thanks
Zach

would need more information on what u have done in this restoration. not much info to go on. have you had the clutch disassembled? is it moving with the clutch disengaged? did u adjust it as per manual???. does it snap out when you pull the clutch lever? can you feel it engage when you push the lever in? what are you meaning you cant put it into gear... grinding or what? need symtoms as to what is going on.

Probably need to remove the inspection plate behind the battery and see if all the links and pins are in place between the throwout bearing
and pressure plate.

This tractor was all torn down with a complete overhaul. Yes the hand clutch was all apart durning the restoration. The tractor will move while the hand clutch is disengaged. Everything is adjusted to what the manual says. It dues not snap in/out like our 650 diesel dues. It grinds if the the throttle is 1/2 down when you try and put it in gear.
