Anybody Qualify

I also got the notification but haven't bought enough from them to make it worthwhile. Some years ago I was notified of a class action suit for my old 1976 chevy pu. side fuel tanks caught fire if someone ran into you. When it all shook out they sent me a coupon to get 1500 off a new pickup. Wow I think usually those class action lawsuits are only good for the lawyers

Personally I never look at those "compare to" prices. I try to be informed and if the HF price, either sale or regular, is comparable or less than other prices for same type of item I make my decision based on that. I've bought a lot of items from HF and haven't really been disappointed in most of them. If it's an item that will only be occasional use then fine, if it was something I would use all the time I might be a little more discriminating.

hayfarmer-I share your opinion of class action suits. I recently received an unexpected check for settlement of a suit against a large communications provider (that I was not even aware that I was a participant in) for $.10 (yes, the tenth part of a USD). Won't bank it as it may be a phishing scam of some sort; maybe invest in real estate!

"....good only for the lawyers." Ya think? To get a good idea of how these things work, read John Gresham's "The King of Torts" and "The Litigators."

I received the same email notice. I am not interested as it is just a lawyer scam that will only drive up the prices at Harbor Freight. I believe that I received one of those ten cent checks for some dumb class action scam and I did not take it to the bank either. These actions should not be allowed!

If you really want to be PO'd, read his "The Appeal" Haven't read any thing of his since!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
