Now that the ding a ling that posted the sheep in the cage as the first Dodge ram is gone!!! Any of you guys have or restore any old dodge trucks? Did a lot to an older pickup this winter and have a 46 2 ton. Have been tempted on some 1967-72 pickups, I did not care for the styling on the 61-66. Like the larger ones and used a lot of them over the years 700-900. SO would like to hear what you have. Also any stories good or bad.

I do not have one and probably do not want one, but whether it be Dodge, Ford, Chevy, IHC, or Studebaker, I prefer the styling of the late '30s up to about 1954 or 1955.

I've had three dodge pickups ('75, '84' and '87) and liked them all, but I still thought the "First Ram Truck" picture was funny.

I had a 78 dodge 1/2 ton, full time 4wd, 400 for the motor. I liked the truck buy I was constantly having issues. Transfer case needed new chain and sprockets when I got it, spun a rod bearing, constant electrical gremlins, rebuilt the rear axle, distributor, and any other part that moved lol. I learned a lot about mechanics and am glad for that but relieved when I sold it. Still kinda miss that truck. Brother in law has a 52 dodge that he is rebuilding.

When I was farming 30 years ago, I had a 48 Dodge farm truck. It was a neat old truck.

I put a nice paint job on it and kept it nice enough to drive in a parade occasionally. Underneath, however, it was still a working farm truck.

I was its 4th owner, and when I quit farming and sold it, the son of the first owner who had bought it new bought it back.

I often wondered what the air "swirl" pattern looked like in an oil bath air cleaner when the engine was running. Thought about cutting a window in the housing and rigging a camera to film the "swirl".

Then I thought that would be a lot of work and expense to satisfy my curiosity so I didn't do that! Still don't have any idea what the "swirl" (if there is one) looks like.

I had a 67 D2200 given to me several years ago. 318 and a 3 speed. Drove it around the section once, put new brakes from the master cylinder on back and parked it. It'd be for sale if someone wanted to play with it.

77 W150 78 plymouth trailduster 88 w150 all 318s one with a granny 4spd. Would like to get an M37 saw one for sale the other day just can't spend the money.

Probably like water going down the drain. The thing that made me wonder this was a four wheel drive and bounced around alot you would wonder how that would work getting sloshed around like that

We have all kinds of Dodge trucks and pickups here. From 46 to 04. One of my grain trucks is a 75 D-500 with 40000 miles on it. Like a new truck. Dodge trucks have been very good to us.

I'm anxiously searching for a 70's through early 90's dodge to restore. One just slipped through my fingers for $500 today. Love the power rams. I've had 2 01 dodge rams but had to sell them.

Dad had a 79 D250 and an 83 D350. Both of those trucks were almost bullet proof except for the sheet metal. I liked the styling of the 70's and 80's. I've got a 2005 Dodge 1500 4x4. It is my 1st and last Dodge. I call it my Belarus, in fact the Belarus that I had was built better. Personally I liked the poke. It was meant in fun and that's they way I took it.

This is my favorite style of Dodge truck. However, I think I'll probably stick with something a "little" more modern than this.

Proud owner of a 78 Dodge lil Red Express. Bought new in 78, 360 police intercepter, fastest production truck made up to that year. Took the wife on many a date in it, brought all 4 children home from the hospital in it, not as pristine as it should be, but still a head turner. Many memories made and still being made in that truck.

Got a 50 dodge a bit rusty ran good till dad got the transmission lever out of position. Should be an easy fix. He claimed it did it a few times. I never had trouble with it and I drove it more than he did. Has less than 40,000 on it from new. We bought it with about 20,000 on it.
I would like to find an old power wagon from the 40's to use on the farm for pulling wagons and equipment with. Just out of my price range though.
The 50 could probably be bought if for restoration or parts. Siamese 6 with 4and vacuum 2 spd.

ive seemed to have mostly 70's dodges around, earlier, but none at the moment, owned a 73 w150, a 76 ramcharger with a 400 in it, a 78 dodge warlock, [wish id kept that one] rebuilt a 79 lil red express, a friend just had to have that, and ran the wheels off a 94 cummins 2500 all good reliable trucks

My 47 WDX I redone in 2004
Still have it drive it often.
And a friends 70 W300 and 75 CNT 950

How would it be any different than on a tractor working first time over on rough plowed ground with those small 5:00x15" front tires.
