I think GPS works if the receiver on the tractor can get 3 or 4 satellite signals. Trees will obstruct satellite signals from reaching the tractor especially if they are leafed out. The accuracy of the tractor position is increased if more signals are received. Not unusual for 10-12 satellite signals to be available to a GPS receiver on a day with no clouds. If HEL is open land and there are no clouds one should be able to receive GPS.
