Oliver 1550 or 1555

Neighbor has a Oliver tractor sitting in his yard its been there for several years that I know of. Were these good tractors? Thought about seeing how much he wanted for it so what are they worth? I cant tell exactly what the model is but I can see A 1 AND A 5 for sure. Thanks

We had a 1550 gas without any type of power shift. I really liked that tractor, only problem I remember was it wouldn't start one day after lunch break. The rubbing block on the points had worn enough that she didn't start. My fault, not the tractor's.

I have a 1550 gasser and a diesel like them and are handy tractors that fit many jobs for me.

Great little tractor. The way to tell the difference,the 1555 has headlights above the grill,the 1550 didn't. I've got a gasser with close to 10,000 hours on it. I use it to rake hay and haul wagons,but obviously it's done a lot more work than that over the years.
