AW Dang! Another rich Canadian farmer with his new toys. It must be nice.

Just kidding Bruce and good for you. Happy farming.

how many Kubota tractors do you have what hp?
a good friend of ours has 3 or 4 Kubota tractors from a older brown colored one to one that is 100 hp 3 or 4 years old.
the newer one saved his life in a tractor roll over when he feeding his cows hay on ice covered field .he loves the tractors.
another friend has one about 80 hp that he also loves.

i wouldnt call a farmer rich because he bought a new tractor by any means its just a tool used to make a living. nice tractor Bruce enjoy.

My wife wants a Kubota so bad she drools every time she sees one. I think she'd outright faint seeing your "toys"!

Just curious as to what swayed you to Kubota vs New Holland, CaseIH, MF or Deere. I've been watching Kubota offering larger and larger hp tractors with interest to see how they are received. Can't say in my neck of the woods there are many large Kubota tractors. The landscape is littered with the smaller ones - which everyone, including myself regard as outstanding tractors. These new - larger hp Kubota tractors are - well new. I'm thinking, if you were on the side of an interstate and I drove through, I'd say - there is a Kubota farm, just like I observe with JD and really a lot of old IH tractors.

Speaking of IH, IMHO - while I regard MF (read Valtra engineering and Sisu engines) as a dark horse, the reputation of Kubota has to be the biggest threat to JD market share in larger tractors. I think it is possible to see a repeat of IH vs JD, only this time around it's Kubota vs JD and all other brands are somewhat distant in fielded tractors. Just speculation on my part - but IMHO, since Tenneco/Case took IH, I'm not sure JD has had their hands full with competition like they did when IH was running strong. Perhaps in some ways, Kubota and JD are similar vs IH back in the day. JD and Kubota are tractor companies, they both sell engines, have lawn/garden tractors, etc., etc. Kubota is gathering more types of implements, like hay tools, to be a full line manufacturer too. I gather Kubota is financially sound and very well run. IH, on the other hand, was into trucks, refrigerators, steel mills, and on and on - there was much to focus on other than just tractors/farming. It just seems to me JD and Kubota are similar in market offerings, strong management and financials. It will be interesting to see how JD and Kubota slug it out over the next decade and who (if any) manufacturer falls to the wayside from it.

Those Kubota tractors you got look great. I hope you get a LOT of years out of them too!

Bill

My CaseIH dealer is a long time Kubota dealer. Dealer does not push the Kubota line in the larger tractors. They are light duty in the castings and final drives. Just walk around and compare you will see for yourself.

Looks awesome. What size is it? Looks like you'll now need fenders on your other one. I've had a M125 for awhile now and it has been great. We have repeatedly over 20+ years put a bunch of hours on smaller Kubota utilities with much success. That's a nice big tractor to have a quick attach on, looks great!

My local CNH/Kubota dealer dropped MF about 15-20 years ago, and the handwriting is on the wall for CNH. Every year, fewer and fewer CNH sales and stock and more and more Kubota sales and stock.

They still sell a few large CNH machines but cannot give the smaller ones away.

Stay tuned.

Well Bill , I'll tell you . I had both Ford and CaseIH tractors before, and liked them . Then Ford married New Holland , and CaseIH and New Holland married up , and I didn't like what they offered , didn't like their price , and was put off by the Junk the CaseIH MXU tractor my buddy had. The long time dealer that I have bought from for over 35 years , dropped CaseIH , and went full line Kubota. And promised me that they would look after me just as well with the Orange tractors as they did in the past with my Red ones. So far , no complaints. Buddy that had the MXU , his next tractor was a Fendt , No dealers sell Fendt near me . Though we are seeing more and more Fendt tractors every year. Jd tractors are strong with the cash crop guys , for now as are the CaseIH combines , But Claws is making in roads . Things are changing .

I'll be interested to know how you find the fuel consumption between the two of them. I work around quite a bit of machinery that is identical but some take DEF and some do not. The ones that use DEF use noticeably less fuel. Good luck with it. Sam

Nice looking tractor - enjoy it. I used my neighbors MX 126 when my 2-105 went down, and overall, it was a nice tractor. It didn't seem light to me - it was actually quite a bit bigger physically that the White. I had to adjust the drawbar and u-joint support on my baler quite a bit to get the driveline straight.
The 10 speed shift on the fly was handy - but the 4 cylinder engine seemed to run out of wind if you didn't keep the RPM's up - not a problem, but you just had to get used to it.
I wonder if they make any models with a 6 cylinder?
Pete

Nice!

Same story this end of the country, Kubota is quite popular in the sizes they build. Big bang for buck.

Went orange here.

Kubota dealers out number the separate NH, CIH and AGCO dealers around here.
