How big of a disc can a wd pull? It is getting rebuilt with 1/8th inch over bore pistons, a 45 crank, and a cam ground to 175 specs. It will be a pulling tractor that I want to try on the disc for fun, it has front, mid, and rear weight brackets so slipping hopefully won't be much of an issue.

It should pull a 10 ft. nicely. But if you're just disking for fun you should be able to pull up to a 15 ft. Only put it as deep as you can pull.

Put it on a 10-14' disc and set it in the ground so
you are working it. Run it for hrs this way to get it
broke in. Play with it.. Time on the seat running it
will help you when you pull.

The hand clutch or radiator might be the weak link...

I agree. we pulled a P-9 disc with our 88 and S-88. On plowed ground set at the steepest angle, that was enough. I'd say 10 feet maximum. We sold a 252 12 footer to a gent with a D-17. He pulled it, but it was too much.

hand clutch has been pinned and the lever removed, and the radiator has been cleaned out by a radiator shop so i hope not.

this is unplowed flat iowa ground by the way

There are about a hundred variables when you're talking disk harrows I've seen 6ft disks that would pull far harder than a 12ft and then the type soil, how loose etc.
