Mystery Solved

At least it was a mystery to me. I bought this horse drawn disc a while back. I couldn't find what make it was by watching all the youtube videos I could find or doing disc picture searches. I ask on a couple sites/boards this morning and received a suggestion that it might be a Dunham. With a google search using Dunham I found a good picture and sure enough I have a Dunham horse drawn disc. I would still like to see what for scraper set up was on them.
I have a little work to do. The fellow I bought it from had the other wheel though it was in bad bent up shape. I have the steel cut and pre drilled for the spokes for the tire. I have started to make the shaping fixture. I have a bit of work ahead of me to get it back to new condition. I have the axle out and will need to make a new one. The wheel hubs will need new ends and a bearing insert turned. The disc axles will need new nuts. The frame pieces are not bent at all.

Good find, DickL. I can't help with restoring it, but this fella can give you some pointers on how to pronounce it!
Dun HAM

I picked up a 3 point disc few weeks ago.
This disc has a oval emblem with Durham equipment on it.
This is a well made oil thing, has grease fitting on bearings, and adjustable gangs.
I tried to find a little information on it since, I have never herd of Durham equipment.

It's the mystery of humor, but he seems to have nailed it pretty well! I know several people who have seen him in person, and all said it was an excellent show. He just manages to slip so smoothly between the various personalities, mannerisms, and accents, that it only takes the tiniest amount of imagination to visualize three completely different "people" on stage all at once.

Want or should??? What shape is it in? Dixie told me I should be getting rid of stuff instead of dragging more home. I might not tell her since it is so close! Naw I don't work that way really. I might tell her a few week after it was home. Naw that is not working on my way of thinking. Guess I need to think about it longer. :)^D

Very popular brand. The cultipacker and cultimulcher names were developed by Dunham and I think trademarked. Made tillage equipment and manure loaders. And made here in Ohio.

A lot of disks did not have scrapers, actually think that was an option. If the ground was in good condition to work and was not a sticky type of soil you don't need them. Actually more of a nusunce than a good.

That looks like a fun project and it is always a worthy project fixing up old equipment. You mentioned on another post that it had some orange paint on it, are you going to paint it AC orange? That would look sharp!

Orange is in the plans. I will start with AC orange but will try a light tint to dull the red in it slightly.
