Going to miss the little A

Sold this Farmall A to my brother in law in East Nassua NY State. He can plow his snow. It moved a lot of wood chips for me and plowed a lot of snow. I'm going to miss that tractor. No snow plowing in Florida.

No that was all I had . I pushed it hard and darn near try to use it for a bulldozer . The trick was take little bites and you could level a soil pile . Brother in law is so un-mechanical I had to explain postitive ground three times. Ne has a long driveway.

Must be a lot of people call their "A", "the little A", as my grandpa and dad both called the Farmall A that I have now. Nice looking A you had there.

Looks like an aftermarket hydraulic pump. My Dad's old Jeep had one just like it for the snowplow. It had a valve mounted to the top of it that you
could control with a lever from the cab to raise and lower the plow. It was also an oil reservoir. Don't recall the brand.

Those little buggers can push a lot of snow for having only 18-20 HP. I made a blade for dad's B and it really surprised me what it could do. The blade I made was wider because of the wider wheel stance. Dad's B had the cast center wheels and weights like yours. No 18 HP garden tractor would come close to what that B would do.
