Made the deal on the new M6 141 Kubota, with loader. And on the way home , stopped at the feed store , and got the wife a new pair of bib overalls. Little something for me , and a little something for her, and everyone is happy. After all fair is fair. Bruce

I don't think my wife would be so "open minded." I'm glad your wife was happy. Hate to see her sick her puppy on you. How much does that lap dog weigh ? Congratulations on your new tractor. Hope it makes everything easier up there on the tundra.

So far the ones that I know about that are out seem to really be doing a good job. Duals and fill the tires and it will hold the ground.

Bruce, Looks like you could have put a loader on that dog!
Congrats on the new Kubota, sounded like you were getting a deal!
Bibs for her and a Kubota for you. Next go-round It will be you with some new pants and her with the big$$$ toy I bet.
Enjoy!

Where does Bruno sleep ? Remind me not to ever drop in without calling ahead. Don't guess you have to worry about forgetting to lock up the new tractor with Bruno about. Makes our Brittanys look pretty little.

Most guys have a wife that's bigger than their dog. But I guess not everybody. As long as he keeps smiling, I guess everything's OK. If I ever come up to see you, you'll know its me because I'll be sitting in the car until the smiling woman comes out.

I think it was a root beer company many years ago that had a series of commercials on how to train various animals. I remember the wolf training one-

Obtain a supply of meatballs.
Teach the wolf to do something.
If he does it right, throw him a meatball.
If he does it wrong, throw him a meatball.
Never run out of meatballs.

Keep us all updated on the kubota. Got the finger on the trigger for a m6 131 with a loader just haven't quite squeezed the trigger. We've crawled all over everyone sitting on lot in a 40 mile radius of us and put a terrible amount of finger prints on the one at the national farm machinery show

Great to hear congratulations! Hope to see some pictures soon,is this your first tractor with DEF? It's really not a big deal even in our cold winters. We're finding our T6 NewHolland drinks about half a litre per hour doing heavy pulling or chopping, barely takes any at all doing loader work around the yard.

Neighbor had a great dane about that size, used to lay right in the middle of the gravel county road. Everyone drove around him so much that the road actually got a wide spot in it right there. One time the milk truck had a substitute driver who thought he wouldn't go around the dog, the truck ended up with a flat tire when the dog bit it. The dog has been gone for a few years now but you can still see the wide spot in the road.

Might as well shuck out a few more bucks and buy the bigger tractor , few extra hp is always welcome. And the two tractors will be close in price. This tractor is replacing my MX100, just not enough tractor for the work that I needed it to do. I also have a MX135, and it has been a good soild tractor, the M6 141 , is the next generation of the same tractor.

Now, that thing is a hoss, and I bet the Kubota is nice too.

I expect you will like your Kubota. I bought two new Kubotas within the past 18 Months, an L6060 and an M9960.

In 1994, I bought my B1750HST (20 HP) CUT. In the 23 that I have owned it, it has needed absolutely nothing aside from regular lube, oil and filters. Nothing, not a fuse, fan belt, light bulb or hose. Nothing.

Hoping for similar experiences with the two new ones.

Good grannies! Is that a mastiff? Forget telling him to fetch your slippers....he could fetch your lazy boy recliner...

The dog got a big chew bone for Cristmas IIRC. Just thought it might be time for another.

Bib overalls vs a new tractor - has to be the marriage deal of the century. LOL. Good wife, good dog and a new tractor. How much better does life get. People are commenting about the size of your dog. I would take a breed like that any day over one of those little dog breeds.
