Moving a refrigerator update

Problem solved it turns out nobody wants the old frig. The delivery guys will take it away and leave it with Goodwill.
It does work perfect.

I guess I should check with goodwill, I hadn't thought of that, we could use one this spring to store tree seedling in when we start planting in N MN.

DTE energy has a service where they pick it up for you and send you $50. Had one picked up last week.

Better than trying to put it on craigslist. I put one free, and had a dozen people wanting it delivered, hauled up several flights of stairs, and installed. I ended up taking the doors off and leaving it for the trash men.

Our local sears hardware has a scratch and dent section with all their appliances. Our fridge had a scratch the size of a dime that my wife put a magnet over. Listed at 50% off, but you can negotiate on that stuff, got him down to 75% off on the condition that I could leave iwth it right now. I had my truck and little trailer with refridgerator dolly in it ready to go. 28cu french door with icemaker and water in the door for $1100.

Most scrap yards won't take them unless the Freon is pumped out per the EPA, except on days that end in Y.
