135 Massey hydraulic aux valve removal

I have a Massey Ferguson 135 and it has an aux hydraulic valve mounted just to the right front of the seat. I have no need for this and its in the way getting on and off the tractor. I removed the valve but it has a couple of hy ports looking up with the seals on the valve itself. Also it has a tube about 1/2" in diameter that extends down into the tractor. This tube has an oring seal on the end of it that must seal in the hole the bottom of the tube fits into. I can make a flat cover to block off the ports but do I need also to block off this tube???? I am assuming this tube carrys hyd oil up from inside the tractor into the valve itself. How do you remove this valve if you dont want it on the tractor???? Anybody know ?????

Cannot envision the external plumbing on your valve but do know that you cannot simply block off the ports in the lift cover after removing the valve. Rather, you must install the factory "block off" plate. Finding one should be easy in a salvage yard.

If you go ahead and do this, I would be willing to buy the controls and all you remove from yours. I have been thinking of adding the remotes to mine, but have not been able to locate the parts locally at salvage yards.

Thanks

The tube brings hydraulic oil up to the 3 point.

You do need to keep the tube in place and install the transfer plate John Deere D posted below. Without it, no 3 point lift.

I paid around 700 bucks to have that valve put on my 231 when I brought it over 10 years ago. I think its the same as whats on your tractor. So I'm sure you could resale your valve after you remove it and get a good price for it. Just saying

Mine had a short bolt for a lever on it that I was always getting my pants leg caught with. I removed the bolt and plugged any ports and solved the problem. TDF
