Your original post is on page 2 now, so I will start another. If you do replace the lines, get GM ones, DO NOT USE DORMAN. I used Dorman ones once on a customer's vehicle and about had a near death experience when it was towed in streaming oil from a brand new Jasper engine. The hose Dorman uses is junk, the one I had on this one split out in less than 500 miles. Hose was cracked and brittle from heat, looked 50 years old. Learnedly my lesson, never again.

The Dorman lines are OK but you have to use the dorman fittings to the radiator or grind a 'steenth off the end of the Dorman lines!!!! BTDT

If this is the oil cooler that comes off the engine rihjt at the oil filter. You can remove the hose fiting/oil filter thread part and replace it with one that has no fittings in it just the threads for the oil filter, believe the bolts are 2 allen heads up beside the filter threads.
