Beer Battered Deep Fried Chicken Gizzards. I was out truckin yesterday to Michigan and came across a Marathon gas station in Mendon that had these on the menu. A big ole plate full for under $5. Delicious. Probably won't find many places that serve that.

We found some... actually at station just south of Floyd, Iowa. Can't remember the name of the place though.

Excellent deep fried... if freshly done. (Not great if they've been sitting under a heat lamp.)

Years ago after a day of beer drinking, a friend of mine took me along to his Mother's place.
Her specialty for supper was gizzard soup.

I do remember it being delicious, but I never did get the recipe.
They have both passed away now.

Anyone have such a recipe?
