A diversion from today's events. These items were somewhat unusual, so I have grouped

The first is a Kenworth. Sure looks pretty modern for 1940's. Wonder if there are any
left in Europe

1973, drove similar out of Iowa to NY and DC, 36" sleeper that you crawled through small rear cab window to get in or out, plus the side door was still there. Learned how to change clothes laying down, a little crowded driving team.
 
Yeah, wouldn't they have been subject to the same 'no chrome' condition as other vehicles were at the time? Unless it's aftermarket. Ben
