Red Sky At Night

Actually it was evening but the old saying goes, "red sky at night is sailor's (shepherds, farmers, etc. ) delight. Usually indicates a good day tomorrow. This was really red and lasted a long time. Tomorrow should be as good as or better than today.
I took this shot with the drone, looking over the grandparents cabin and the 15-30 McCormick Deering.

That's a fantastic picture. Also wanted to say this . I really enjoyed your drone videos especially the one with "I'm Learning to Fly " as the background music. I have been sick lately and it actually lifted my spirits and may have even had some healing effect on me. I'll watch for more of your videos and photos. Keep your wigwarm up there in the far north in January. You must be a stalwart individual with some of those temperatures you report.

Hi Bill
So glad to hear you enjoyed the video. I enjoy making them even more if I know others find them entertaining too. This drone adds a whole new dimension to photos and video. That Tom Petty song was just the sound track I needed for a first drone video.

were your grandparents the first of your family to own the farm ? really like your place and your movies

Rusty6,
Nice picture! What kind of drone do you have? What kind of camera do you have on your drone? I am interested in getting one and doing the pictures and videos you have been doing. Keep up the good work!!

Thanks for posting and sharing!!

Yes, Grandpa took on this homestead in 1903 and was the first to farm it. I'm pretty attached to the place too.
Farmall 656, this drone is the Autel X Star Premium and it has its own attached camera to shoot video and stills. You can see plenty of videos showing it on youtube. I did a lot of research there before I bought mine. I'm still learning to fly but getting better all the time.

I remember those days on the farm in ND, except we didn't have all those trees around the farm. The cattle always seem to enjoy clear, calm weather even if it was a bit cold.

Great shot I am going to buy a drone soon,, sounds like I can buy a good one for about what I gave for my first video camera in the 80's
