Going to look at one for my father in law tomorrow,I've never seen one or know of any around here just wondering if anyone has any experience good or bad with these tractors? Thank you for any info

parts will be few if you can find any this tractor a Lamborghini made in Italy i would pass unless real real cheep but then still might pass

Ok thank you very much,it's high hour and they're asking quite a bit too,I'll have a look at it but I doubt it's worth biting if parts are hard to get even if he cut the price in half.

184-4 might be related to 154 also.

I think it was made by Landini which was/is a MF sister company and sold through Massey dealers before they had their own FWD tractors.

It's a Landini tractor, MF owned Landini at the time, think it's similar to a Landini 7830

The 254, 274, 294 MF are all Landini built as well.

That basic Landini series was still sold brand new (at least here in Canada) up until a few years ago as the Evolution 60 series. (5860, 6860, 8860)

Not sure on parts, but the actual tractors are simple and basic.

Spent some time on a 5860 4x4 loader with 12x12 syncro shuttle. Was a nice handling tractor, 4 post rops might be a heade banger until you are used to it...

Thank you for all the replies. Had a look at it today, the hydraulics took awhile to start working but the rest of it was in good shape. There's a massey/Challanger/Fendt dealer not far from their place,he's going to inquire about parts availability and if they're out of this world overpriced or not and go from there.
