New holland t 4030?

Our local Deere dealer as one of these in stock. It's a 2012 and only has 730 hours on it and appears to be in like new condition. They said it was traded in from a trucking company and did mostly loading and unloading pallets and clearing snow. The price is about half what we can get a new kubota for. According to tractordata.com it is a bit heavier than the kubota M8200 we have now. Does anyone on here have any experience or knowledge of if they're a good livestock operation tractor or not? I really like the low hours and the fact it never loaded manure or hauled bales and had string or net wrap wrapped around the axles. Thank you for any input

I realize it's about 12 less pto hp than we have now but the way our current tractor plays with the forage blower filling the silo I don't think a little less would be an issue.

Rule of thumb for filling a tower silo is 1.25 hp per foot for corn silage, a bit more for haylage. Ben

Ok sounds good thank you,we have a 60' if it's 63 pto might be a bit on the under powered side,I could rent something bigger no problem for a couple of days a year if it won't quite do the job.

Filled 60' silo with corn silage no problem with 59 hp White 1370 and Dion blower years ago. Filled a 68' Harvestore with haylage using a 65 hp DB 1210 at a farm were I worked from time to time as well. My guess is that the t4030 will work fine.
