Regulator: Lucas RB340 25A instead of 22A

Hi Everyone

I have Ford 5000 and have managed to purchase a NOS Lucas Regulator RB340 12V 37568A and I have found it is 25Amp instead of 22Amp.

Is it OK to use a 25A instead of a 22A?

Any help greatly appreciated.

If the tractor Lucas stuff is anything like the British car Lucas stuff, a small difference in amperage will be the least of your worries. Auto hobbyists don't call it the Lucas "Prince of Darkness" electrical system for nothing.

Sorry for late response. Hooked up the NOS Lucas Prince and all is perfect, thanks very much for the help.
