Here's a picture from Crested Butte. Too much snow in town, no place to push it all must be loaded on trucks and hauled away. Friend of a family member at the condo.

'Back in the day',they had the 'legendary' 2 story outhouse(yes they did exist) and the town would become a maze of tunnels in the snow. 'CB' has always had deep snow,but this year is exceptional. My wife was raised in the area.Still have family there.

This is why it's important for at least one outside door in snow country to open "in" (no storm door/screen door). Snow can be shoveled in and let melt in a bath tub, or melted on the wood stove for water should the power also be out. Been there, done that, but not quite to the degree pictured above. Yowzers!
