1938 John Deere B Governor

I have some bad bearings on my governor shaft. Does anyone have any helpful hints for dis-assembly. I have the governor apart with the shaft assembly on my work bench. It appears everything comes off one end of the shaft. I took the small bearing race off. I take it that the gear has to be pressed off next?

Make sure the oil passage behind the oil pressure gauge is open. It is just a very small hole that goes off to the side. oil sprays out thru it to oil the governor.
