I am looking to get a front end loader for my JD 4440. I found a Woods 355. The guy said it came off a JD 4640. Will it fit my 4440. How do I measure it to see if it will fit? Thanks

Thanks. I thought it would be. I will measure it. Maybe it will fit. It might be to big for my tractor.

I am almost positive it will. But the frames are the same width . I had a JD 524 blade on mine and the brackets fit both the 4640 and the 4440.

Be sure the loader does not interfere with being able to service your tractor. A friend has a loader on his 4440 and it is a pain to
service his tractor. I am sure he would not reccommend a cheaper non-JD loader. Some of the mounting brackets get in the way. His brother
insisted they buy non JD because it was cheaper.

Ditto frames of 4440 & 4640 are same width IE loader will fit both models.
