OT Foggy glasses

Ok, how does a person go about keeping their glasses from fogging up when you wear a face mask? Never had to worry about until this year. I never wore ear flappers or a face mask, but this year I am riding a 4 wheeler to check electric fence, and when the temps drop below 10 degrees, I wear a face mask. If I breath through my nose I can almost get by, but with fighting a cold, I end up pretty blind.
To keep it on topic with tractors, I would do the same if I were on an open tractor.

Ski goggles and snowmobile goggles keep your breath off eyeglasses. They also keep snow off glasses when using a snow blower. Some face masks for use inside helmets port breath downwards towards the chin. If your 4 wheeler dealer does not carry that type of clothing, check with a snowmobile shop or a catalog like Dennis Kirk.

Most snowmobilers use a heated face shield on their helmets. The power comes from the sled or in your case your four wheeler. You do where a helmet right?

I have used shaving cream before. Rub it on and wipe off. Seemed to work decent for a little while and was cheap.

I used to ride quadrunners a lot in the winter.I tried the anti fog sprays on my goggles, but it really did not work well. What works with goggles to keep the quad moving-it does not have to very fast either, just moving, but you want to seal your breath away from the glasses, and goggles do that. You need a high quality name brand goggle that you buy at a dirtbike/quad dealer, and get the kind that you can buy replacement lenses for. I doubt glasses would ever stay fog free. You can buy goggles that fit over glasses, too.Mark

They make anti-fogging wipes for glasses, I'm not sure if that would work for you or not. We use them on everything when we're deer hunting, it's usually cold then.

Yes, a couple on here said soap. I have used just straight Ivory dish liquid. The white creamy stuff. Also Palmolive dish liquid. Put a dab on and wipe it off with a kleanex. Make a very thin coating. The soap will absorb the water and slowly get dull but just a little moisture it can handle. Nothing I know stops it totally but this stuff sure knocks it down.
