I honestly didn't think I'd have to explain. The spears come off in about a minute to use it as a fork. You can take the forks off in about a minute to make it a bale spear. Geezs. Saved $200.00 by buying the combo.

Fellows the spears or forks can be removed. So you can use the round bale spears or the pallet forks. You just chose which you leave on the base frame.

charlie n: You will find you use the pallet forks more than you would think.

We've had pallet forks on a loader tractor here since the early 60s.This tractor loaded sod pallets for a lotta years.

O.K. I really draw up when I post something on here. @5+ years selling Kubotas, 6 or 7 selling titan attachments as well as tons of others. What you bought is OK but here is my experience. First of all most folks who buy that set up are back sometime in the next year or sooner wanting to go to separate attachments. Be very carful removing and replacing the forks , easy to mash a finger. With a Kubota quick attach you can change attachments in less than the time it takes to change the forks or remove the spear. You save a couple hundred bucks and if you only use one now and then may be satisfied . I certainly hope so. Thanks for choosing Kubota and good luck with you attachment. And titan does make good stuff.

I like it. Kinda figured it was self explanatory. Convert back and forth as needed. Looks like the smaller spikes are held on with set screws. Pictures a little small to tell but how is the center spike held on. Has to be some quick attach. Does it use the pallet fork frame rail and attach the same as the forks?

Hopefully those forks are not as heavy as they look, are they hollow? The forks on 4000# lift trucks were heavy enough when adjusting the width, around 150 to 200 pounds each, I'd hate to remove and install them very often.

Yup I built a set of forks that I also use to move bales. No need for the spear.

My forks are square shaft at the bottom of a plate that I can stab a bale with or drop to the ground and use as forks.

Apply grease liberally on the top rail and tilt the entire assembly forward until the lower part of the assembly is loose. Should be a one handed move, then.

Bought one just like it from Titan just like it for my John Deere the only difference is it is green and
black and yellow. It works great best tool I have bought in a long time. I leave the forks on all the time
and just add the spears when needed takes maybe a few minutes

Raise the forks real high and rotate them down until they are hanging straight down. Move easy then.
