The guy I work for has a 1986 s1600 international that had a feed mixer on the back he is redoing the drum brakes on the back and the adjuster are frioze up and and napa can't get them anymore I figured I check here and see if anyone knew where to get them?

may be wrong but I believe Navistar dealers have line tickets available on computer for all trucks built after about 1975 or 80. have your serial number when you call. they should be able to find parts. remember ihc was known for not building any 2 trucks exactly the same but with serial no. it was easy to get the right parts

Might be time to check with a TRUCKpro or Fleetpride truck parts place, If he's smart, he'll call the IH dealer and get the part numbers and do his on search based on that number.Sadly, most parts store people are not going to put a lot of effort into a search for a older vehicle. If I remember right there were three different sizes of rear brakes on the 1600 & 1700.

I've had the best luck simply going to the IH dealer. IH makes so many variations of any particular model that I've found the IH dealer saves a lot of aggravation. Make sure you have the VIN number of the truck. (last eight numbers and digits)

Does that truck have a line sheet in glove box or on sun shade. If it does it will tell you manufacture and model of rear end. You can look up other make and model trucks that used that rear end and find it under a GM or Ford number.

You need to find a napa store or truck shop that has the old illustrated brake parts book. Most of those parts are available but are not catalogued by application

When I worked at the Navistar dealer we also sold parts made by / sold by Euclid. I bet they sell those parts if they are still around ?
