looking for help concerning the inner working of the super tuffy wheel hubs. I am not sure what is supposed to be in there to make them work. Mine are locked to the axle by small flat bars in the hub.

Not sure about the Tuffy Jr. model,but the larger Planet Jr my dad had when I was growing up had 3 ratchet bars
in each axle hub. If you did not keep them greased you could not turn because they did not slide up or down as
needed to let that side free wheel. They were cut on the end with a diagonal slant and if you put them in wrong
