ihc cyclo planters have white fiberglass,.. mine is 40 = yrs old does anyone know if there is a resin or polish out there that would improve the looks and vitality ?

Reminds e of a buddy who has several sailboats, he's always fighting that issue. Yu might go to bookstore and look for sailboat magazines, the want ads might have good advice.

If they are in pretty good shape, but the finish is chalked up, try Nu Finish wax. If they are cracking you'll need to stabilize them with new fiberglass and a gel coat.

If exposed fiber and chalking are involved, using a medium wire brush and a UV resistant gel coat might be all that is needed. If some thickness is gone, putting a single fiber mat and gel coat is called for. You probably do not need additional fiber in the shaded areas where the sun has not damaged it. Jim

Just need a polish or gel coat bad? Just polish and bring color back use 3m marine cleaner wax. Really chalky use 3m marine polish then a wax.

Polishing compound. Used it for years on boats. Takes off the dirt and oxidation leaves it bright and can be polished with a really good carnuba wax coating that will last several years
