Where to buy a seat cushion cover?

Does anyone know if it is possible to still buy just a tie on cover for a square or round cushion anymore and where to get them? I dont mean for the pan or bucket seats but for a regular foam cushion that is 4 or 5 inches thick. We bought one for the 4020 years ago which works well when the foam is still good.

Hate to tell ya but if you are handy with a sewing machine and go buy a material called drill. Also heavy duck. These are as close as you can get to canvas. You can also go to anyone who does upholstery work. See if anyone else has an answer.

So you're looking specifically for a cover for the 4020 style seat? I recall Dad getting one of those tie on ones for his 2510 years ago. Do you have a JD dealer who would help?

I have a bad hip joint, and before I figured out what was wrong with me, I decided I didn't like the OEM style seats on my 2520 and 4020. JD offered a complete newer style assembly with a square, flat bottom, and a tall back. Then I found the same thing after market for, as I recall, a much less expensive $165. Then the JD one developed a problem. I found a local upholsterer who even had the correct material on hand to recover it. Bill upon completion- $200! Woops.

Actually just looking for a cheap tie on cover for my M5 MM. It is a loader tractor and sits out all of the time so the regular seat cushion coverings dont weather well long term.

Got any marine [boat] dealers near you? They often have information on someone who does boat seat covers. The nice thing about the boat seats is that they are water repellant and should make great tractor seats to. Happy holidays.

I was just watching an old episode of Ozzie and Harriet. Ricky said girls are like cars, except that instead of gas,you fill them full of soda and they take you for a ride.

www.Overtons.com sells boating supplies. I used some of their waterproof seat cover material to recover a couple of rectangular boat seats. I wrapped the material over the seat without removing the old cover, folded the corners without cutting them, like wrapping an X-mas present and stapled the edges to the wooden bottom of the seat with heavy 3/8 inch staples. It was pretty easy and turned out much better that I expected. The material was about $20 per seat.

I havent run across any on there. Unless Im not finding it in the proper category since they changed things on there.
