Birthdays:

1782 Martin Van Buren, American lawyer and politician, 8th President of the United States
1839 George Armstrong Custer, American general
1879 Clyde Vernon Cessna, American pilot and businessman, founded the Cessna Aircraft Corporation

Thought for the day:

"Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain?
To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices.
Today I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it.?

Bet there was a party or two when they ratified the 21st amendment. :)

I had no idea that Christie's auction house had been around that long.

Good to pass on the Stillson heritage. I knew it was the inventor's name, Dad and gramps used the name instead of "pipe wrench" and splained it to me. Jim
