In about 71 I worked on a winter job where we would shelter the pour and then in a day or two they would cover the slab with cull builtrite and we would move the shelter to the next pour. after a couple of weeks when they took up the builtrite it would still be steaming. I think there was about 100 yards in each pour, and 16 inches thick. A waste treatment clarifier for the paper mill on the CA border, -30 F some mornings!
