I found one last week when I went to get the corn picker out of the field. A round spot about three feet across. Solid all the way around. Didn't see where the woodchucks had been digging there, but there sure was a sinkhole there.

One of the problems with trice tractors. Yes those d**** GROUND HOGS. What is worse is in the spring where melt water ubndermines an area of frozen ground with sod on top. Man can you ever find a DEEP hole.

I found one many moons ago at the farm. Top of a slight slope in the back hay field. Plowing with a 2 btm. Single front. Buried up to the frame in the time it took to clutch. Took 2 days, a LOT of shovels full and some planks to get it out. Was careful the next year. ;^)

Yep, ain't that the truth! Stupid groundhogs are a menace around here since the dog left home. Do still get a couple around home if they stop long enough to get the .22 on em. Which reminds me, I've got to check the oven.

I was clearing brush here by the house with my JD 450 dozer and found a seep I didn't know was there. Good thing I only got in on one side I thought the dozer was going out of sight. Just that quick!
