I am having a hard time getting the steering wheel off. I stripped
a steering wheel puller trying to get it off. Tried lubricate and
heat wheel won't budge. Any suggestions. I'll try anything. Thank
you. Dan

Candle wax as it cools? Make sure it"s not threaded or pinned?

To get a stick wheel off I put on the puller, crank it hard, heat things up, crank it more, and spray on PB Blaster. Heat it up more. Then crank it more, leave it and walk away, come back the next day. Heat more, spray more, crank it more, leave the pressure on day after day, more heat and more PB.

Another important step is a good solid blow with the BFH on the head of the puller.

If it has a nut holding it on, the hub is neither pinned or threaded.

Sometimes just the opposite will work-extreme cold instead of heat. If you live up north, leave machine outside and try again in mid January or when temperature is ZERO or below.
