Blue Water Massey,

Thanks again for these regular posts about this day in history. I have always loved history and I learn something new from your posts each day. It amazes me to see the dates associated with inventions and significant events in our country's history. Sometimes we (I) seem to think that things have happened much more recently than they actually occurred, particularly the inventions and the patents that came about in the 1800s and early 1900s.

Congratulations also to NEKS on 50 years of marriage. I'm old enough to remember what was going on 50 years ago, and in some ways, it seems like it was just yesterday. Tempus fugit.

Thanks again,

Tom in TN
