No lines to wait in and no crowds,,,lol

Larry, my grand daughters helped me plant brussel sprouts Thursday and onions today. 54 collard plants are growing like crazy.

We shut our garden down well over a month ago. Filled the pantrey with canned goods and big stash of tators, onions, and squash. Filled the garden freezer with lots of peas, beans, carrots, and peppers also. The wifey also stached lots of garlick away with lots of dehydrated spice plants for seasonings.
We only have to walk out to the enclosed breezeway to shop for a meal.

Larry we have snow on the ground but we will be harvesting carrots and parsnips into next spring I covered them with some old hay we had so the ground will not freeze they are the best in the spring and we do have our freezer full of veggies and my wife shot a nice little buck so we are good for the winter. Sure miss the garden. Randy

Great pictures, we have the exact same vegetables in our plot and are still digging them. We also have spray chrysanthemums and loads of Ruby Chard and Spinach.

We are in the East of England.

We grew Sweet Potatoes for the first time this year, a variety called "Beauregard", they look exactly like yours in the leaf and how they spread, Sweet Potato Chips cooked in our air fryer are out of this world. Sweet Potatoes are rarely grown over here because of the climate.

This site and the people on it have some amazing similaritys! That same book you have sits on the coffee table in the livingroom in PA! Open it up,,there is a picture of him on a Farmall H !

We grew some Beauregard sweet potatoes this year. Did better than I thought they would since we were so dry since July. How are you going to keep the ones you have not cooked yet?
