Hello i hope this is were i should post this if not please tell me wear.... i have a 1968-1975 ???(due to no "louvers" on the hood,,,Ford 3500 industrial (industrial because no front axle adjustments???) tractor w/ hoe and loader, i have found this sticker that says : tractor number C350798 model 05011K unit 2H08B engine 2F30A rear axle 2P20A transmission 2E29B or 2P with a line under the p or 2F sry 2nd digit hard to read TSC (tractor supplie co,) says i can use the traveller all season hydraulic oil iso 46 oil (sku 80639199) (man. part # 80639199) in every thing except the engine OR use super s supertrac 303 hydraulic fluid iso20 (sku # 806000499) (man. part # sus.TH303.1005.730) in EVERY thing like rear end, transmission, hydraulics....is this correct??? what year is my tractor?? is it the 8 speed German transmission (has hi/low and 3 forwards and 2 reverse),,,this is my 1st tractor and i love it,,,,im a old gravely fan from early 80's,,

The 'O' is a 'C'. so its C5011K. Built in 1972. The oil needs to have additves for the wet brakes. Needs to meet M2C-134 Ford specs. If the trans has 3 forward/2 reverses with hi/lo its a 6X4 manuel reversing with trans pto A 8 speed will have 4 forward/1 reverse with hi/lo

That seems late for a 3500. I was under the
impression that Ford discontinued those
before that. But the numbers don't lie so...
They went to a 3550 at some point which had
a heavier rear end with double reduction
rear end gears and wet brakes.
Your tractor should have a 175 ci diesel and
dry outboard brakes. It is a close sister to
a 3000 which was the ag model of that
series.
That 6x4 transmission is fairly common, is
not German built and was used in many
industrial and utility models.
Any good hytrans or UTF oil that meets Ford
134D specs (look on the label) will work for
everything on the tractor except the engine
- transmission, rear end, loader, hoe, even
the power steering. Most of us use a good
generic oil from Fleet Farm, Tractor Supply,
Walmart, etc.
This site has a very good Ford board. Bunch
of knowledgeable guys there that can help
you if you need it.
nnalert the Ford Board.

wow !!!thanks!!!,,,,im taking notes....i believe i have drum brakes...(i think you called them out board dry brakes) i hired a honest mechanic because the machine would not stop,,,,scary!!....found out the shoe's were new but the axle seals had leaked all over them,,,,he replaced the seals. cleaned the shoes and im up and going,,,who ever put time/money in to putting new shoes on it should have spent the four dollars on seals !!!,,,i will ask him for shur if i have dry brakes....i believe he said dont over fill transmission or i will get fluid on the clutch and wont be happy,,,,,so i think i have a dry clutch system,,,,he's going to stop over for free and show me were the plugs are that shows the fluid level maximum height,,,i will pick his brain more,,,,,he is in such high demand its just hard to get a minute with him ,,,,and yes it has a 3cyl, diesel engine ....they say i got a "good one" because it starts right up,,,,no cranking,,,,no starting fluid....i replaced the bulbs in the instrument panel and the one under fuel stay on all the time,,the one on the left not the generator on the right,,,it flickers when you crank it over but goes out when it starts,,,,,,,the tac was jumping all over so i took and put 3 in 1 oil down the cable sleeve that's why i had instrument panel out, what is the red light on left any ways??? it goes out if you shut key off but that shuts down the gauges to
