cub farmall rear flat belt pulley sizes?

Looking to run a hammer mill and ive noticed
that the cub came with 3 different sizes on
tje flat belt pulleys 6 a 7.5 and 9 i think?
Correct me if wrong i may be but i think
thats the correct sizes? Anyways what was
the true size made for the cub when they
where sold by the dealers? Was it the 9
inch pulley.

that doesent make any difference which direction the pulley runs its feet per second so you can run your grinder ect and just learn how to run a twisted belt if needed.

What are the dias on the units you are using you wont know till you use them speed mite be slow make sure Cub is running up to speed.

It doesn't matter. I've ran the same hammer mill with 3 different tractors and different pulley sizes.

The Cub is too small to run a hammer mill, just not enough power, would not even be able to get a 10" mill up to speed empty. You might, just might be able to run a 6" mill at 1/3 or less capacity. For a 10" mill that was the standard size you need at least 25 HP on the belt. I know the small JD B with about 23HP could only feed slowly and have to stop for things to regain speed. The newer B with 28HP handled it without having to let it regain speed but that was still only partial full, not anyware neer full mill capacity. Saw yes, mill no.

Ok.... i bought a 7 5/8 flat belt pulley seeing that it was kinda rare ... so i guess is it the bigger the pulley the faster it pulleys or is it the smaller the pulley im no to sure on the cubs?😒
