According to the weather news, upstate Eastern New York got snow today.
Pictures from Lake Placid showed snow on the sides of the highway.

Got a bit here, but it hasn't added up to much yet. Going by the old saying that the first snow of the season doesn't count unless you can track a cat through it, this one doesn't count yet. Forecast calls for a half inch by morning, so I'll know more in 8 hours or so.

No snow here in the St. Lawerence river valley but I guess the higher elevations got some. Placid is in the Adirondack mountains.

We have snow here in Vermont this morning. I am looking out my back deck and I would say any where above 1200 feet got a little. I have none here at 300 feet.

Ended up just being a few flakes. Definitely snow, but barely worth the name, and certainly no significant accumulation. I imagine Tug Hill got more than here, but I doubt if even they got much.

There is snow on the higher elevations of the Helderbergs (north of Catskills in NY)looking towards the west from my kitchen window, I can see 50 miles. Sun will melt it off though. Very noticeable at dawn this morning.
