I followed a landscaper with two Dixie choppers on a trailer. First chopper was all the way to the front. Second was centered over the two axles. As he turned I noticed the side walls on rear tires were flexing a lot because of the stress while the front tires showed no signs of side walls flexing, they looked normal
I'm thinking this is why my rear tires lost more tread than the front tires. The tire wear was due to turn and scrubbing off rubber.
Will keep an eye out on two axle trailers while turning and see of you observe what I have?
