John Deere 750 Grinder Mixer Screens

Hi. I'm looking for screens for a John Deere 750 Grinder Mixer. 3/8 most important right now.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Looking back through some of the archives on this site, they were hard to find 6 years ago, supposedly obsolete.

I don't know what they look like, but other grinders I have dealt with used perforated metal plates. If that is what these use, could some be made?

Thanks for the info. I'll look into that. You'd think someone out there would have some they'd part with. But it seems pretty straightforward to have one made ... thanks again.

Fabricating one will be toigh since they are fairly hard, not mild steel. But you should be able to find
one from another brand that could be cut to fit.

ok, thanks. I'd have to see what brands are close ... someone out there has to have one of these laying around with screens, however. I'll be grinding barley and peas ... I understand 1/8 inch is preferred for barley. I have a 1/4 inch screen. Maybe I could jack up the rpm's and hit it hard with the grain. Another strategy.

I don't suppose you're in Michigan where you could pick it up? I've got one or two here out of a 700. Don't know if there's a three eights. Maybe a half inch. I'd have to give a better look. It'd cost more to ship it than it's worth without a doubt.

I bought a new one for my Deere 400 about 4 years ago from a company that would make about any screen. Right now I can't remember the company name. There are companies that make replacement screens. Tom

ok, thanks Tom. I got a couple leads on those kind of companies above ... I'll check them out. thanks again. Randy

I could only find one this morning. It looks bigger than a half even. I wiped the dust off looking for a number. Only thing I found was a part number. Ended in 371 if that helps you any.

Let us know where you are located.
I have some screens and likely some others do as well but shipping costs tend to be an obstacle.

Yeah, I have 1/4 and 1/2 screens. I need 1/8 inch for sure, and maybe smaller. I'm grinding barley and peas.

Thanks

Hi. I'm in Bigfork, Montana. 59911. Sure hope you have the 1/8 and some others. Thank you.

(quoted from post at 14:27:00 10/20/16) Are you still looking for screens?
I finally came across my stack of them today.

Hi. What screens do you have, what do you want for them, and do you know what the shipping would be to 59911?

For a John Deere 750, right?

Thanks,

Randy, Bigfork, MT

Hi Randy I tried sending you an e-mail but it came back as undeliverable.
I bought a second JD 750 for a parts machine for mine and it has a full set of screens from probably 1/8 to 3/4+.
Let me know which ones you want then I can weigh and measure them to figure out a shipping price.
