when I put the door and opposite side window back on the backhoe cab. Another growing season is expiring. This simple task is what really marks the change for me. They will be on for the better part of six months.

Backhoe is a 1985. It's not an antique yet, is it?

Was 84 here yesterday afternoon several storms and 4 inches of rain later its 50 now. Winter is closing in fast! just glad the beans are all done.

I consider any tractor that is not Final EPA Tier 4 emissioned or newer an antique and a blessing to own!

I think you're under the wire with that 1985 year make... ;-)

Acording to EDGTA(Early Day Gas engine & Tractor Assn),Anything over 30 years qualifies as 'antique'.

Gonna be plenty of time for projects such as that as it looks like we are in for some rain. The soybeans are weedy this year so we are a little behind on harvest. The weedy spots which are everywhere are harboring green bean seeds. The severe drought made weed management impossible this year.

The drive home from the elevator after dropping off the last load is the happiest 30 minutes of my year as long as the account receivable from them is higher than the account payable to them. This year I'll be delirious if it is just close. :)

I think I parked the baler for the winter the day before yesterday. Maybe we'll have an early squaw winter and a nice Indian summer and I'll cut one more field.

time to take massey 30 and cockshutt 40 to neighbors shed for the winter. i hope we don't get much snow makes more work harder to do chores and i hate moving it
