In 2017 on August 21st a Monday there will be a total eclipse from Oregon to South Carolina right slap across the country. A little early but you need to plan ahead.

Suppose to be a big deal in this area. Have motels booked in advance and area businesses with dollar signs in their eyes. It was overcast when last eclipse that happened in this area. I guess they are betting on good weather. We know how predictable the weather is though.
