Ford 600 coolant type

I am flushing and replacing the antifreeze in my 601 and it is not clear what is the proper antifreeze to use. Anyone know what is best?

Conventional "green" antifreeze should be just fine.

Now days I buy the new universal type anti freeze that way no matter what I need it for it should be just fine.

I have been told if you mix the new type with the old type it can cause problems so that is why I now use the universal stuff just to be on the safe side

Plain ol green stuff like has been around since tractor was new should be fine. Personally
I use ELC in everything on the place.

I agree partly with "young fella" Old. You don't want to mix them so keep it the same as the rest of your stuff.
