That Case Combine

Here is a photo of the Case combine I mentioned in the other thread about harvesting. This shot from 1983 was about the last year I ran it as we got the MF 510 about that time.
This 460, although only 4 inches narrower than the 510, was not even close to the capacity of the MF 510. I bent a few crow bars trying to unplug the cylinder on the Case. I can only remember one time plugging the Massey in tough long durum straw picking up a heavy 21 foot swath. And the sweet music of that straight piped GM 350 V8 at my right side droning along at 2400 rpm all day and part of the night.

a 460 was a pull-type 660 the smallest Case SP combine, a 510 compared to a 1060 or 1660 (sorry not that up on the MF line) over twice the capacity of a 660 was so that is why you seen a huge change in performance lol sure would like to have a 460 as nice as that one in the pic

Speaking of case combines. I saw a couple of these at a vintage tractor place this summer, never saw one like them before.
