Good pictures. How do corn producers get rid of all the trash so another crop can be seeded. I am from non corn country
 
That pile of cobs isn't as big as the on at Watkins, between 136 and Farmer City on 150. They are from monsatan. I heard they are going to IA but the guy could not haul them fast enough. So he rented some ground and piled them in two places. Not as big as the ones that were around Mt Pulaski but sizable.
 
Usually chop them or disk them to get them in smaller pieces and then plow them under or at least use some kind of deep tillage to bring up lots of dirt and mix it in with stalks.
 
My Dad had an IH no. 70 pull type moldboard plow, 3-16's. As long as you plowed in the same direction as the corn was picked that plow would turn the stalks under without chopping them.
